What kind of snorkel is that?
Let me go a little bit off-topic to answer that:
1. Ford Motor Company was founded june 16, 1903 in Detroit City.
2. First Ford factory in Brazil was stablished in the year 1919, total of 12 employees assembling the Ford T.
3. In the year 1997 an all-brazilian-company was founded in Brazil, at Ceará State, to assemble an off-road vehicle named TROLLER T4, similar in look and size to the Rubicon, but having a diesel engine and a robust fiber body.
4. Ford purchased the Troller factory in 2007, in name of "globalization" and also as a smart move in order to get tax benefits from the brazilian government. The deal was several hundreds millions of GWs ! Since then, Ford made many mechanical improvements, parts standardization and interior redesign in this T4 model.
5. My T4 is a 2011 model, it is a keeper, having the MWM International 3.0 NGD turbo-diesel electronic injection motor 163HP.
And so, the snorkel is a Ford part number.
Estimated present Ford figures in Brazil:
5 factories including the Troller one
270 K vehicles per year
1000 vehicles per day
1 vehicle per each 80 seconds
New Ford-Troller to be launched in Brazil as 2014 model, the TR-X, to compete with Toyota FJ Cruiser:
estimated price 45 K GWs....girl
