My '80 CJ getting ready for it's trip to the cabin, to start it's winter hibernation.

My TJ using a maple tree to scratch an itch:

Trying to climb a rock ledge, and kept sliding to the side. Pulled some cable, and used the winch and low gear to idle/pull away from the tree.

No damage to the TJ or the maple.

I look forward to being here and posting some adventures.
These are old pics, end of summer '11 any way, from the Texas coast. I've done a few modifications and will post an update soon.
This TJL will change a few minds regarding space and usability on the TJ Wrangler platform.

Added an Nth degree 4.5, TT and moved a couple things around. new wheels and 35" TAKO's. A week in West Texas proved it was worth the money.
Handles great and crawls like a cat.
ARB fridge and Kanz Kitchen atop the Tuffy box and there is inside room to spare.
When the roof top tent and battery system is installed I will update again.

Added the Autohome RTT, Maggiolina Airtop. 1800 miles on the road and 12 nights out in various conditions.
aerodynamic on the road, quick to deploy and comfortable. i highly recommend. Plus, it looks really cool!

We had a toys for tots drive / meet and greet at Adams Jeep in Aberdeen Maryland. We had over 100 people and over 50 Jeeps. Everything from my 1945, a 1965 cj5, a few 1970's cj5's, a few cj7's, 6 YJ's or so, a dozen TJ's, and a huge group of JK's from jeep forum.com jkowners.com jkforum.com. It was a awesome turnout and we got a lot toys for needy kids. 340329c2.jpg

That's awesome! The Toys-4-Tots thing has really taken off in the off road/Jeep community!!

I see pics on all the Jeep forums of different drives, from 20 to over 200 rigs at some!

My dad hauled my CJ to the cabin on Thursday, for it's annual hibernation.

I got some side x side pics with the new TJ.

Next year, the CJ once again goes 'under the knife'. This time to bring it back to factory specs. Probably leave the lift in, and run some 32" tires, but the rest will be restored.

Be great running to DQ on a hot August day!

Figured I would get the post count up here.

My '05 KJ CRD and Japanese Type-73 a few weeks ago for some winter camping and hunting on the Wisconsin shores of Lake Superior.
