Circa July 4, 1976: my first Jeep- '76 CJ5 only about 1k miles with full weld in cage by Smittybuilt if I remember correctly, and Armstrong Tru-Tracs. And yes- two different pics and two different jumps- and no alchohol on board ;-) The second jump is actually the one on the left which broke the front axles and axle housing- Jeep denied the warranty claim for some reason. This was two years after shattering my pelvis racing motorcycles, and I wonder why my back has issues...

Did some testing this weekend of my new sliders

Also tested my front skid plate I wanted to see how much it would stand up to so I pushed it up this rock and it did pretty good.

Also tested my new toy out. I love this gauge!

Mine went haywire, it now shows the 'Pitching' Jeep standing on it's tailgate!!

Probably didn't help that it was in my CJ, and exposed to the weather for a year or so!

:coffeedrink:

There cheap enough to replace I guess. This one is illuminated I get a big grin every time I turn the lights on and it turns on:Wow1: I'm easily amused I guess.

Cause this is what we do after we chop down a tree and use the XJ to haul it to the backyard! Everyone should have a big *** rock to flex their Jeep on in their backyard, even if you don't own a Jeep. Lots of work then a little play ( yea I cut down a 30ft tree, delimbed it, cut it in half, lifted the halves onto the roof rack and all the limbs and dumped it in like 10 minutes, wasn't too bad, tree was only like 7-8 inches thick..

I didn't have a rock at my house.....so I brought one home from the cabin's gravel pit!!

The wife saw it and like it, said it would look good in the front yard!

So, I thinks to me self: "Hmmm, that would be perfect for checking flex!"

you sir, are smart! I need bigger rocks...I want to flex it out as much as I can to see what the limits are. and how much clearance I have for bigger tires.

Picked up an AEV premium front bumper off of craigslist for her.

also picked up a factor set of side steps until i can find a nice step/slider that i like for her(plus it keeps short skirt Fridays in effect since it's a little easier for her to get into ;P)
