Somewhat new to the site, love all these great Jeeps!.. We are a Jeep family, I play wiht a 94 YJ, lots of work on it... my Wife drives a 03 Liberty, my Daughter has fun in her 98 TJ, and my son will soon be driving around in a 1949 Willies Truck that has been "worked" a little... and needs a little more... Love getting LOST, as part of LOST Jeeps So Cal club...
And a 87 Humvee just for fun...

Nice CJ!

Me and my buddy's parked in front of my house after a trail run today. I didn't take my YJ. That's why it's clean.

Some sort of lost...
Haven't had a chance to do much with it this month, only home for 9 days in a six and a half week period... :(
I ran up mount hood to play in the snow for a few minutes the other day though. New synergy track bar, tie rod, ball joints and frame side track bar/sector shaft brace has made a huge improvement in handling! New axle sleeves, c gussets and truss gave me a lot more confidence about the front axle too.

I've been waiting to start winding up my Jeep until I posted up here. It's an '84 CJ7 that I just finished swapping out the axles for D44's with lockers front/rear and 4.56 gears. Rubicon express yj front springs, skyjacker hydro shocks, XD9000i, DIY rear bumper/tire carrier/side steps. It had a 350 in it when I bought it and a th400 transmission and a fiberglass body. There are some electrical gremlins but I'm going to wait until next winter for the wiring harness replacement. MTR kevlar 35" tires, 2" wheel spacers, Currie tie rod linkage with goforit offroad tie rod flip kit, LED lights around the entire outside. Bushwacker wide flat fender style flares, new seats/seat lap belts, replacement windshield wiper motor, YJ brake booster and chevy 1 ton master cylinder. I'm sure I've forgotten lots of other stuff.

it had a one piece tilting front cap but I had to go to a conventional front end to make room for a winch mount up front. Instead of paying to get a new conventional front end I cut the hood loose and made the fenders/grill stationary and the hood was put on a standard set of hinges

What I started with and the steering had so much play in it that it was unsafe to drive. I have had to dig pretty deep into this Jeep to get it back road worthy. There were just so many things wrong with it and everything has been done in the last 4 months while recovering from back surgery for 3 of those mounts.
