Thanks fellas!

Rocky Road 2.25" BB and 275/70/17 BFG A/T's w/ Quadra-Drive II

Thanks for the info, after seeing another one this past weekend at RC sporting an OME lift and JK Rubi wheels and tires, I think it's on my short list of the next Jeep to purchase and build!
Will make a nice tow rig to drag my XJ around as well!

No problem! I think that if there is a late model Jeep that does everything well, it's the XK. That being said, it does make compromises to do so. It's not the best at anything, but it does more than anything else. As long as you need everything the XK offers, you'll love yours as much as I love mine.

I really wanted a 4-door Rubicon, but Wranglers can't tow what I need to tow with the XK. The XK with Quadra-Drive II was the next in line, and I'm more than happy with it.

Have fun with the XJ! I've had two of them and loved both. The biggest automotive mistake I ever made was selling my modified '99 XJ.

Rube's TJ

Good morning all,

Here are some pics of my 2004 TJ on a trip to Moab a couple of years ago. I find it works well for either solo or with just my wife and I - any more than two people & things get very tight!

All geared up & ready to go....

Red Rocks in the background as far as the eye can see...

Another XJ

Here are some recent pictures of my XJ during a trip to Nevada. It’s getting a little small for a family of five and all our gear but it still gets the job done.

Towing an enclosed 6'x12' trailer with tools and materials weekly. It is 7' tall (inside height) and a relatively tough pull on the interstate. It tows my ski boat easily. I have towed my Land Rover Discovery on a car hauler with it.

Now THAT is one nice Wrangler.

Here's my 1995 XJ. Got a 3" RC kit on it, with 31" Guard Dog MT's from Treadwright. Only other mods are the small fog lights on the front bumper, and a cheapo Radio Shack CB and antenna.
