just checking some clearances

Hey Jakes! I had to do the same thing! My 'new to me' 2000 TJ. I brought this big rock home from the pit at the cabin, because my wife liked it.

Little did she know, I had ulterior motives for said rock, here in suburbia!

Looks like I need some longer bumpstops on the front, or be really careful not to rip the flares off!:snorkel:

My '85 CJ-7 Stretch project

I've been working on this for a couple years and it's finally done! I wanted something that had plenty of room and could haul a decent amount of camping equipment. So, I chopped it in half right behind the driver's door, added 12" to the cab for a "club cab" effect, and then built a 5' pick-up style box behind, for a total wb of 120" I converted the old leaf spring suspension to a TJ style 3-link front and 4-link rear, with ORI struts in the front and 6" TJ HD coils in the rear. It had a Vortec TPI Fuel injected V-8 from a '88 Corvette for power, along with a 700R-4 OD auto tranny and I added an Atlas 4-1 T-Case. I sourced dana 44's front and rear with ARB's and 4:56 gears., along with 35" KM2's. So, hopefully, this will be a trouble free combination. I have plans later on to build a matching trailer so I built in a very strong 2" receiver hitch into the rear bumper. Any thoughts to improve on it? I'm only planning on 5-7 day excursions in the northwest and southwest. DSC01798.JPGDSC01814.JPGDSC01801.JPG

Awesome rig FastCarGuy!!

That's my plan almost exactly! My 'dream CJ' would be the same in the front, but I thought of using an M416 tub on the back, with a CJ tailgate cut into it.

Have any pics from the front/side? (showing the grill and side of Jeep)

Great build!!!
