Post Pic's of your Jeep

Not how I like seeing my Jeep.....or any Jeep for that matter!

Was leading a trail ride and had a little mishap.

Damage isn't to bad, need a new windshield frame/glass, and got a nasty dent in the rear quarter on the driver side.

I credit the full width ARB bumper for leaving me with minimal front clip damage!

Not bad for a 3/4 roll over.

Good time to remind everyone to make sure your gear/tool/heavy stuff is secured down!

My sunglasses and cell phone went flying off the dash, and the winch controller knocked me in the noggin.

Better light stuff, than an ammo can or spare axle shaft!

Probably a good reminder to keep the cell phone in a dedicated holder / compartment too and not just left in the cup holder or door pocket like I normally would... Losing your phone in the forest floor like that would suck - especially when you may need it the most when the rolls stop!

Hope you got the Jeep fixed up!

Jeep 10A Unlimited

Hey guys. Just picked up my first Jeep. A 10th Anniversary JKU. Here is a pic of it on the trails up near Grande Cache, Alberta. Learning lots on the forum. Cheers!

I love what you did with your Jeep's grill. I found a pic of it years ago and up 'til when I sold it, I wanted to do something similar to my LJ.

Thanks! I do really like the concept but for whatever reason I never really get to complete my projects on it. I wish I'd been able to spend a little more time on things and make it less of a 10 footer. For a trail rig I love it. I'd like it just a little more "finished" but not to show quality. For whatever reason, I didn't paint it olive drab or desert camo. Might have to rethink that?

I'm kind of thinking about building a buggy (amazingly similar to Metcalf's new concept ;) ) with a similar grille and making the hood more "right" on it. It'd need to be a very driveable rig for me to build another one. The one above isn't an awesome driver, but it's OK. I've made it better over time (locking hubs, swapping the rear spool for a Detroit, etc.). This trip on the Rubicon was the first time I've driven it more than 10 miles to the trail (probably drove it about 50-60 miles from South Lake Tahoe to Loon Lake Road), ran a decently difficult trail, then drove it back to the tow rig in South Lake Tahoe. Makes me intrigued to see how Metcalf's rig turns out and see if I want to build another one. (I just bought a JKU to play around with for now)

I still have the MB/GPW and TJ grills I was going to join together, which I think would've looked pretty good. I was going to add the MCE fenders to wrap up the flat fender look.

Here's what I call my "new beginning" We totaled our LJ last October and were asked not to off-road for a year. I wanted to get a head start on that year off and ordered a new JKUR, now the fun begins. I'll drive it a bit and then it'll be getting 2.5" lift, 35s, bumpers, front winch, probably a Gobi rack.
