You will never find anything rude in any of my posts anywhere on the Internet...not intentionally anyway.
If that is the interpretation on this one my apologies. If I have nothing constructive to say I keep quiet on line and real life. Served me right for fifty some years.
As for the mud observation, I drive 1/2 mile of dirt road to get to the highway and after spending hours cleaning my 4x4s and dual sport bike "I" feel like crying when I hit the mud holes!
Cheers.

I on the other hand am quite often rude... But more of the "Whitty banter" and "all in good fun" kind of rude... More of a sarcastic really

New shoes and rails.

Recently picked up some takeoff Rubi rails for our Dune '13 sport. Preemptively cut 1.5" from them, painted and reinstalled the caps.

Picked for a set of 5 Argent Pintlers about a month ago after not being able to wait for the Saltas to drop. Added some 285/70 Duratracs yesterday. I really wanted the 34x10.5x17 KO2's, but supply is still spotty (and they are ~$40 more per tire). Taking a trip this weekend and the winter tires/wheels needed to come off (Blizzak DMV1) with the crazy warm temps we've got already. So, while I really wanted a narrower tire... these will do nicely and provide good snow/ice performance for when we're traveling in the spring/fall to the Rockies or here if we get hit with some weather before I install the winter wheels again.

Next up is a 2.5" AEV lift. This is a DD and our family adventure rig. I have a tube fendered, extended wheelbase TJ, on 38s for being stupid :)

First post over here! My 1989 Grand Wagoneer. It's got a .020 overbore, reground crank, new pistons (obviously) and new Yokohama AT/S tires.

I've owned it just over a year and have been replacing parts as I can afford. It was purchased new by the State Hwy Dept of Illinois for use in our Capitol hence the different interior, it has some aspects of the police package and not others. It's kind of a rare bird. I initially though because of the good overall condition that it led a pampered and well maintained life as the daily driver of a high muckity muck in the dept. I'm finding that was a naive notion. It has 160k hard earned lotsa idling miles. It's grown on me though and I'll get it all lined out and slowly restore it to its former glory. :).

What size are those wheels and tires? I think we have the same wheels but mine are 15's and yours look bigger.

The wheels are 16" and the tires are 315/75-16 Duratracs..steelies from Summit.

It's a rare thing to see another Jeep with these wheels - nice choice!
