Both the front and rear bumpers are JCR Offroad. The back can be set up to carry 2 Rotopax 2gallon containers (pictured) or other tools like your jack, etc. They've held up well over the 4-5 years I've had them, with yearly greasing the swing pivot and touch up paint for the rock kisses.

A slightly damaged Westphalia top came up on Kijiji last Fall for a good price and having seen your build thread a while back ... I WAS TEMPTED! My XJ is a 2 dr. and, while not the best configuration for overlanding, I'm adapting. A modification like yours would be a nice addition. It's a BIG commitment though!

@PCO6 that is very tempting! Always loved a simple 2 door (and actually wanted one over the 4dr)
I plan to finish up the build some more and travel/live full-time out of it, making the extra popup space valuable.
For a weekend camper it definitely has some novelty too.
