I prefer this setup, but the 3k round trip would have been a bit much for the kids:

Here are some shots of my latest creation, obviously not an expo rig (but I think an MJ would be the perfect choice). D60 f&r, SOA rear, 4.5" IRO springs up front, everything else hand made. And yes, that is a double triangulated 2" nylon ratchet strap tie rod setup (needed to roll it out of the garage).

Jeep XJ Cherokee/Phoenix Pop up Custom

Ok, here's my Jeep.... The truck, nothing too special: 1991 cherokee xj Loredo, 3" lift, 31" tires, cut just at the rear window. The camper: 2010 Phoenix custom pop up with 3 way refrigerator, 3 burner range, double sinks, electric water pump, Automatic 20,000 btu automatic forced air Suburban furnace, double bed, screen door, all aluminum welded cage frame construction, filon fiberglass sides, and full walk through mini motorhome style connection.

Just add some fun destinations and extra time!! (which I am working on ASAP)

Here’s my junk. I’m in the process of building my bumpers and armor at the moment. This winter I’m going to stuff 37” MTRs under her along with a 3 linked HP Dana 60 front and a double triangulated full floating dana 60. Depending on what the cash flow looks like, I would love to see a set of coil-overs and a STAK 3 speed under her also.
