There's been a 4 door chopped up earlier model XJ driving around that is pretty similar to the green bean up there. The guy cut straight down behind the C pillar and built a bulkhead behind the back seat, then boxed in the whole rear compartment area with shiny aluminum diamond plate. I've seen it probably 4-5 times now but have never had a camera with me.

Took the Jeep to Woolys in Middle TN..
2nd trip still need to work out a few things... Track bar needs to be gone..

*Was* a 2dr cherokee. His blue truck is not something I would have in my garage but it is an amazingly clean truck with a lot of work done to it and completely done out of his garage (including paint).

yea its a clean truck and i can appreciate the work put into it. but its just not my style

My 1985 CJ7 and my 1970 Scout 800A which doesnt run yet

Sorry for the dark pic of the scout...its the only one I've taken since my good camera broke...

The CJ has a 5.3L/4L60E/D300 and will eventually have a set of loaded waggy D44's and tow a rebuilt M416 camping trailer behind it for expeditions...

The Scout is going to go diesel hopefully and get a 3rd gas tank for 35gal total and eventually become my expedition vehicle for longer range trips...but thats a few years away!

I know the scout isnt a Jeep per se...but I didnt see any section that claimed IH's so...

painted them flares and end caps. its getting to be pretty again, next up is the grille, headlight bezels, bumpers, and eventually the body...

That brings back memories. My first Jeep was an '89 Sahara, with a lift and 33". Nothing like a carter carbed 4.2, and peugot 5spd to endocrtrine me into the offroading world. 6 years and 100K in that thing, I wouldn't be afraid of owning anything, including a landrover. :smiley_drive:

Still love that color combo.
