I know the second one is a poser pic but I don't have any other good ones left. She'll be getting a 3.5" RE lift in a few weeks. Oh, and the spotlights work.

Gotta a couple more pictures from my spring break surfing safari

I built up my jeep as a crawler, but now with two kids my focus is making it more reliable and more street friendly (and actually getting out of the garage for the 1st time in 2 years). I'm not giving up the 35's and lockers... but it needs some serious attention to make it the safe family wheeler/camping rig that it needs to be at this stage in my life...

It certainly is, home made trailer hitch spare carrier. I still Need to put a hinge on it so it swings down. But I'm young and I don't mind removing it and reattaching it when needed.

I SPY front leaf springs, cool rig, nice work with the waggy axles and the front leaf swap!!!

Was going to wait until it was done, but all these updates has me wanting to show it off a bit!

This is what I started w/: '84 Scrambler, 350 auto, D44/D60, 4.56 w/ ARBs -

Swapped tops, installed rear seat and a set of Pitbull Rockers w/ beadlocks and hit Moab:

Did some local wheelin and exploring

Then...

I smashed in the rear driver corner on Metal Masher and figured I'd add some beef to it before I hit it again, thus the progression its had over the past few months: TNT Customs quarters, flat fenders and rockers. It had some hidden rust and crappy prep work that I discovered when digging into the rebuild, decided to replace the windshield frame too. AND REPAINT to my desired color :victory:

Here she sits now, waiting on my shackles to be welded up, front drive shaft and a few other misc. junk that is needed before it hits the trail. Needless to say, this is the first year in a dozen I've missed the great call of the wild wild west  but I'll get by, and it'll be all worth it in the end -
