I was alone in the truck, enroute home from Ladoga trophy 2011! Luckily I was alone...my left leg was broken at 8 places...but otherwice just OK! What happend....well my concentration for traffic slipped for a few seconds! This happend 2:40am.

Wow. Looking at that, I'd say you're lucky to be alive. It's a somber reminder of why I have a roll cage on order, although the passenger compartment looks like it held up pretty well in this case, compared to some I've seen.

I have always wondered what the side impact protection was for a Land Rover. Definately not up to Volvo standards. Jan- please post more details, if you can.

Yeah, I'm reconsidering the sliders that I figured I'd put off for now. If I'm getting things fabbed anyway, it's probably worth it.

Here is my defender. Is´s a 1993 200Tdi with 1,2-1 transfer, rear discbrakes, zu rims, complete equipe stage 3 and rocksliders.

Glad you're "OK" even though it sounds like you had to go through some Hell with those broken bones.

This is what she used to look like.

You can 'buff' that out! Honest....use a lot of rough compound. You're not doing anything while your leg. Heals anyway ....right

Thank you. Your series three is pretty sharp. What engine is in a 1070 SA made LR.? What does the badge look like on the rear? I have a Australian made badge. I was wondering if the SA ones are different also?
