This is my old setup:

It's an Oasis II and weights only 15 kg (30lbs). It did easily accomodate me, two children (9 and 12 years) and my Dachshound.

RTT is one of the CampingLab offerings. I've added LED lighting inside the tent and to the 'ceiling' of the annex. 2 outlet 12-volt accessory plugs and a mattress heating pad for those cold nights to preheat the bedding.

Basically, a block and tackle like this

Once snugged against the rafters, a couple of ratchet straps keep it secure. When the garage door opens the RTT is above the door.

We ran this Tepui tent last year, but I need to upgrade to something like this CVT Mt Adams before summer this year, really need the extra room! CVT pic borrowed from their site.
