This thing sounds like it's ready to go. Someone considering an Astro should snatch it up.

Chevy Astro 6cyl. awesome snow and camping Van with 4x4 AWD - $3400 (west Los Angeles) said:
This is an awesome snow and camping Van with 4x4 AWD !!!! great for Camping, survival, dirt road and snow vehicle with awesome gas milage.... great for mountain climbers, trips to the desert hot-springs, skiing, hiking, HUNTING, fishing etc...
serious buyers only $3400.00 o.b.o but willing to negotiate a little ....since I want to sell the van before I leave to europe in summer.!
I traveled all across US several time and never ever had a problem. Great on gas!!! I get 17-19 miles to a gallon in town and 22-24 on FWY. The van has a trip computer and you can see gas milage and other cool travel info. Huge Military storage Box on Roof and 3 rows of seats (Leather) 3rd. row bench is currently out and replaced with another Military storage box which doubles as a Bed for camping. Rebuild engine 2 years ago, but high speedometer shows over 200,000 miles. We just came back from florida documentary film shoot and powered through 3 days drive with no problem and no worries. new tires. newly registered and just passed smog. No engine oil / water leaks , No Problems, strong engine and lots of power. Auto Transmission no problem . All the vehicle could use is maybe some new shocks sometime down the road.... but thats just what I would recommend and not an urgent thing.
Off-road Van currently has 3 person fold out Roof top tent on roof ... it has a 4" build in mattress and rain-storm cover , with additional changing room and its awesome way to stay out of the mud, away from snakes and bugs and cozy way to sleep!- Willing to sell with van for Extra charge if you want to keep it.

Hmm, sounds pretty exagerated to me. There's no way he's seeing 24mpg with a rooftop tent and "huge military storage box" on the roof. I'm curious to see pictures though...

Hmmm? 24 mpg??? And is that the one, the 88 raised 4"? Didn't follow that. Thanks for posting Aaron, I think a couple grand more to an 04 with half the miles might be better for me. I do like the newer body style....and it's waaaay far away from me, so I gotta pass......anyone else?
