Barlow Adventures rents Jeeps in Sedona and Moab. They encourage their customers to take the vehicle off-road. So their Jeeps see more off-road miles in a year than most Jeeps travel in their lifetimes.

Nena Barlow posted a video on the company Facebook page describing how they prepare a new JK for a tough life in the hands of rental customers.

The video mentions the following:
remove plastic bumper covers
add steel front skid plate
weld material in front of low hanging rear diff cover lip
add Terraflex 2.5 inch suspension lift
shorten factory rocker panel sliders to enable 35 inch tires to fit
add one piece full length gas tank skid plate
move evaporative cannister over 1.5 inches to better clear the drive shaft
add Terraflex spacer to exhaust to better clear the drive shaft
add gussets and lower control arm skids to front axle

I think the video shows a Wrangler Rubicon because it has an electric sway bar disconnect motor.

Saw that today too. Interesting and instructive video from someone who knows Jeeps. I was surprised that she gusseted for 35" tires. I guess with a rental you never know who's driving and what their experience is.

Cool and informative video. :)
Thanks for posting this.

Wonder with the new Dana 44 upgraded axle coming out, if they will still do the gussets?
