Preparing for ALASKA!

I'm four days out from my flight to Anchorage Alaska and I'm getting very excited!

I'll be hooking up with a group from MotoQuest and riding KLR650s for a week in the back country.
From everything I have seen in pictures and been told by others, Alaska is spectacular.

We will ride out from Anchorage to the Wrangell St. Elias National Park and then continue up the Denali Highway and into Denali National Park!
The ride will last for five days and return to Anchorage.

Packing begins tonight!

Wrengell St. Elias National Park is the LARGEST National Park in the United States!

It is 13.2 Million acres and includes the 18,008 foot peak of Mount St. Elias.

Have fun...I did that drive about 4 years ago and am itching to get back...
I was there a couple weeks later but as I remember...the colors on the denali highway were stunning...heads up for all the caribou hunters

We just got back from a 6,000 mile ride from Seattle up the Dalton and back.

AMAZING RIDE !!!!!!!.
