This has been a "no expense spared" project. Everything was done right with quality parts. It's an extremely capable, reliable and fun adventure vehicle.

This is a push rod engine so there's no timing belt to change and it's so simple. Throttle body injection with lots of room to access spark plugs and everything else. Alternator is at the top of the engine. Simple maintenance for overland travels.

Over $19,000 in Receipts. And countless of Hours of Labor.

Your correct BikerJosh. Built by another Portal member.

Your correct. It was built by another Portal Member, who is a stickler for details. See the original build thread. He did a great job and I just added to it. I bought last November expecting to never sale it. In fact added new Yakima rack's, alternator, etc. Have a book full of receipts from the first day of the build to today. Want it to go to someone that will appreciate the build as much as I do. Also just noted my post has the wrong mileage. It is around 167,000 now and runs great. Thanks.

Price reduced to $6,900.

Must go to another Overlander and /or portal member who understand and appreciate the truck. I will just keep it if they are not wanting to overland the vehicle.

I wonder how easy it would be to install a cap for overseas travel. I'm just thinking about security. Awesome truck btw

Yes. Live in Anthem. Been running and riding all the Sonoran Preserve trails for many years. Pretty amazing how well the entire new trail system has come together over the last few years. Actually selling the truck (which I never thought I would do) to build a new project based on a older Suburban platform.
