Project Budget Beater

well thank you.

And that is the reason I sold all my new stuff and am working on my older trucks just that I can work on them. I still have my 03 chevy and the lady has her 05 tahoe but I hate working on them. I cant wait till my parts are in so I can do my suspension.

Well the Beater has been on the side burner for a little while. The stupid Tahoe has been taking all my time. But things will be picking up in the next week. We will be heading back out to my buddies place to do some projects you just can get done next the the parts store.

Next weekend will be full float 14 bolt, brush guard, 52" springs up front and shackle flip out back. I will also start the work of pulling my crew cab and getting it preped for install.

Took the poor old beater out yesterday. We went all the way to the Yellowstone gate just to find it still locked. We ran every side road Took some pictures but its just not that pretty. The truck ran great no issues. I did install a new maganflow muffler friday and pick up some additions also.

Pictures up when the lady brings the pictures.

I saw something about you saying you wanted a 1 ton frame in another post. I have a 1984 (i think) single cab long bed 4x4, 1 ton, frame only, in good shape in NW Montana. I'd let it go cheap or maybe trade for something if you are interested. I don't really have a use for it anymore and would like to see it go to a cool project. PM me if you are at all interested.

Blakepe thanks for the heads up on the frame. I already have one but a friend was looking for on let me see if he still needs it. There are quite often ppl asking me for parts

Totaly have to clean out the truck paint and clean the box. Build mounts for the hi lift jack tools and other things

i have been so busy using the truck not much to up date.

installed brush gaurd some topper lights and did a thin coat of hurk u liner on the bed. ill post some pictures soon

nice score on the topper and brush guard. i would like to find a ute topper like that for my f350 for a reasonable price.

After this topper I will never own one with out side doors. I do wish it had rear doors. Some thing i can change im sure. I also added lights and have more picture but they are taking for ever to up load

seeing all the pics on here of people out in the outdoors while im stuck as work sucks, and i cant even go do anything this weekend because im on call
