Project "Full Restoration" 1983 Mitsubishi Turbo Diesel 4x4

Toasty

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
Also having known a Mitsu engineer for years, I'd say that is pretty true. The Sneaky Ninja thing to do is to take the 3rd Gen Pickup suspension and bolt it on the Gen 1. The truck will ride a million times better with the OEM 3rd gen progressive rate T-bars and (military wrap) sprigs, control arms and steering. It all just bolts on like it was meant to go on there in the first place, I've done it.

I have the aftermarket progressive rate torsion bars and the aftermarket military wrap rear leafs, I just need to lower the front torsion bars so I have downward travel. That's one of the big negatives of cranking the torsion bars. You lose downward travel and then your truck rides more like a dump truck. I will get it all sorted. I have a lot of good components, I just need to finely tune it with the proper shocks, lower the torsion bars and remove a leaf or two in the rear.
