Just purchased a 1980 G in bad body, interior and engine shape but chassis and drivetrain is ok. The project idea is disassemble all and restore it from zero, and prepare it simmilar to the Entdecker G`s. Final destination: South America Roundtrip next year. Let´s start !!

From what I can se from the photos the body looks to be in rather good shaped compared to what mine looked like when i started restoring...

I guess it will be. From your profile i can see that you are located in Venezuela, so I assume that you will not have the same rust issues as I had because of salted winterroads here in Norway. Anyway best of luck with yor w460!

After few days of break. Finally continue the work on the G.
Pre installed a OM606 engine and build new engine supports on chassis and engine
Chassis and body are ready to sandblasting this week
