Started with the new frame today:

Spring mount:

Start of the engine mount:

I need to flatten out the front spring a bit. Any ideas on that?

Heat it, bend it, and re-temper it?

Overstress it, maybe with a press?

Mount another leaf underneath it, but a shorter flatter stiffer one, to force the center of this one flatter?

Worked on the frame. Nice to have a notcher:

Then i built a new notcher:

That new notcher seems to work quite well. You should just rename this thread "Tool Time"!

When you have a deep cut, do you use a grinder to remove that inside the saw?
