Excellent:Wow1: progress on your new project Steinez! I am glad to see that you have a beautiful:Wow1: Subaru to make some awesome power in your vehicle!:) Before you know it there will be dual turbos on that motor and all will be good!:) Cool to see someone have the vision to make the project happen!:)

Twinturbos... :wow1: I think the 54hp are more than enough...

When i brought the Subaru home i was over the point of no return. So this has to happen...

Placed some stuff today, this is going to be tight:

Interesting project. What is your projected top speed? How are you going to deal with the potential balance problems associated with your unbalanced tracks? Tucker Sno-cats just adjusted their top speed on the 2000 XL to 16 mph due to this and other track/wear related issues. The top speed on our Pisten Bully's is governed around 15-16 mph, again for track issues. Our diesel Hagglund tops out around 31 mph in high range.

To be honest i don`t have any idea how fast this thing will go. But i think it`l be about 20mph for reasonable driving...

Any pictures of the diesel Hägglund?

I`m going to pull the engine out of the Subaru tomorrow...

Well, since i saw one in person yesterday i took pictures of everything i was interested in.

What i`m looking for is some information about the controls. Steering is with a steering wheel. Is it possible to lift the rear car? There`s a hydraulic ram that looks like it controls the up and down movement...

Picked up the saw today:

After a bit cleaning, fresh oil and dialing in it runs like on it`s first day:

Bought it for about $200, the seller thought it`d be broken...
