For expedition and daily use my custom rear window molle panel or psd panel (everyone calls it something different) and side panel

Nice! What's your source for the panels? A quick Google search is just showing for Xterra, Jeep, and 4 Runner. I'm assuming you found a generic panel?

Yea I know, after searching and searching I just decided to make my own. There’s probably 3-4 companies that make them but as you said mainly xterra 4runners and jeeps. There is one company that I follow on Instagram that may want to take a run at making some for full size vehicles but I don’t know

Makes sense! You end up using plastic or metal? That'd be a fun project that I might need to steal.

I used plastic (HDPE) but I would like one it metal, either aluminum or steel but it’s actually better in plastic because it has some play and flexibility. I need to make a couple more, you’d be surprised how much stuff you can mount on them

I would like it for my first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, axe, etc. My Expedition has a little tray on the drivers side that holds some of it, but a panel would be a better use of space. Keep up the good work!

Yes it definitely works great for small things but for axes and fire extinguishers I wouldn’t want to put things like that high up in case of roll over or getting rear ended where those things could become deadly flying weapons

I made the molle panel, bought the plastic from amazon and used my router and a lot of patience to cut it out

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So you bought something like this
https://www.amazon.com/ABS-Sheet-Th...&qid=1523285579&sr=8-2&keywords=plastic+panel
And made it into that?
Amazing work man, that's next level patience

Exactly but 1/4in thickness. The hardest part was making the template to be able to cut the plastic with my router

If you're going to call your rig White Girl you're going to need a bottle of Fireball in there somewhere. Just saying...

Lol yea well I only named her that because I didn’t want to make the mistake of calling my wife by the same name and end up getting slapped or worse, fireball isn’t my thing but I’ll have some Patron in there before long

One of my other mods

Grafted in a center console from a 2003 Avalanche and mounted my light switches, and two usb hubs, and moved my climate controls into it to allow for a true double din stereo and space to mount my phone on the dash and be able to cover the stereo when it’s parked

Sounds like you've done a good bit of mechanical work on it.
Could you tell me the brand / model of the grill guard? It seems to fit much more closely than others I've seen.

eta - I'm leaning towards an Aries 4043 for my '02 Sub, but I don't think it fits so closely...
