Protecting Hawk/2500 Ram Combo from the weather

OK, I specifically put a Hawk on a 2500 Crew Cab Ram because it cleared my 8' garage door. (By one inch!) Mission accomplished! BUT wow does this truck fill up my garage!

So now I'm thinking about parking it outside nicely protected with a cover for long term storage. I can find camper covers but only for when they are off the truck. My Hawk is more or less a permanent installation on the RAM. So what is everyone doing to protect their complete truck/camper combination from the weather and sun damage?

Look at Class C covers. Check there dimensions. My Silverado with Grandby is 21' long, 8.5' high, & 80" wide.

Nothing. Its my daily driver and except for the plastic and fiberglass seems to shrug off the weather very well. I just keep 303 on all the plastic and rubber. Seems to be doing well so far.

I am using a tent trailer cover for my Northstar TC650. It fits nearly perfect. It's 7' wide x 14' long and about 4' high. Got it for less than $100 on Amazon.

Edit- i misunderstood what you wanted. A tent trailer cover would only cover the side glass and windshield on the truck

Keeping your camper out of the weather seems like a good idea to me too!! (See my camper thread for rot repair... ) I keep thinking about picking up a 12x24 ShelterLogic portable garage, like this one for my boat and camper. Home Depot sells them too I think. Would keep all the weather off them, and I can hide other stuff in there too. Unfortunately, no where to put one at the new rental house in Farmington.

Blue boat shrink wrap- if it's a seasonal thing, it'll work great. you can drive around with it on there, and it'll stay put if it's put on right. For aesthetics, they make it in white, too.

Probably more of a Class B shape. Or check a local upholsterer. Our guys here make boat covers all the time.

When I got our truck camper I wanted to protect it after reading so many horror stories of water damage (one of which I'm writing myself now). Anyway Shelterlogic makes a 'garage in a box' and it's 20' long, 13' wide, and 12' tall at the peak. I found that if I left a few cross bars off it would clear my AC unit and I left the front pannel off all together. Worked pretty well at my old house but I never set it up at the new place since I didn't have a good place to put it out of view.

i recommend the blue or white shrink wrap too, like you see on boats
