PTO Power Supply

I came across this solution while doing research on methods of generating AC in my truck. It uses the latent PTO capability in several of the 3/4 and 1 ton domestic trucks to drive the generator.

It provides 12 Kilowatts!

Very interesting concept... I once had an old time AC generator which ran off the fan belts like a second Alt. the control box was mounted on the inner fender of my '61 Apache chevy - it was a primitive yet effective set up. I would only run brush oreinted gear off it for obvious reasons

I now have a tiny EU1000 honda I trvel with when I think I want power. it uses .5 gallons in 8 hours of use - and is dead quiet.
