Could any of the qld members tell me the cost to register a 4.5Ton Canter & a 6Ton?
I have never owned & had to register one, just trying to work out which way to go cost wise.

If the truck is over 4.5 tonne GVM you need to have a LR licence

If the body is a camper that is not able to be easily removed then it could be classed as a motorhome

The Gov link is very painfull, if some one could give me a $ figure for the 6ton QLD rego that would be very helpfull.

I just worked it out the other day- 6 tonne --$1802.80 , 4.495 tonne -- $1117.20
That's what I see.

6Ton in QLD is $1778.50 inc CTP for 12 months .

That is why we got ours deratted to 4.5 Ton. $1097.90 inc CTP for 12 months.

A motorhome up to 4.5 ton is $867.80 inc ctp for 12 months.

Qld Rego

Hi all,
live on the Gold Coast and pay for Registration and CTP for my 6t NPS $607.10 per annum. Its classyfied as a "Truk Based Motorhome", Private, with Senior Concession. :ylsmoke: (it pays to be old!)
