Yes, lead chemistries are a completely different universe.

There the issue is more reduced power output below freezing, and yes battery warmers on trucks are a thing in winter as you get farther from the equator.

Each battery design has a temperature where the charge current must limited to prevent damage to the cathode. This is determined by the unique combo of electrolyte, anode/cathode thickness, etc. These influence the ion mobility.

Generally its safe to go with 0.2C down to 50F or so. At 75F and above 1C is generally okay (from a temp standpoint, not a longevity one).

Not practical for most, but pre-warming to say 30°C will greatly reduce the longevity penalty of 1C or even higher, when fast charging is critically important.
