Question about interior lighting...

Hey guys, well I'm thinking of adding a few small lights..probably a few small red leds up front on their own switch & a LED ribbon strip on my hatch that will be wired in place of the rear dome, & also be on its own manual switch..

However, I'm curious of a cutoff switch. Was at the drive in a few days back and layed in the back of the jeep with the hatch open..and the interior lighting being on is annoying and I don't want to keep pulling the fuse lol.
So if there a way to wire a manual over ride switch that will kill all interior lighting at the flip of a switch vs pulling the fuse?

I'm guessing you could 3 way splice into the power source and run a switch that way...I know people have just used replacement LED bulbs that are plug n' play. You could go that route and just put the LED strip in the back and have a switch for it in the cargo area?

I've done that, been working great and very useful!

I replaced my interior lights with plug and play LEDs. They're super bright. My issue is that the lights turn off too soon when I'm loading my '12 JKU at night. Does anyone know if I can tap the oem wires somewhere under the dash to wire in a three way switch so that I can run these as long as I want them on? The answer may solve your issue as well. Also, can't you just turn the Interior light knob on the stalk to off when you want them off?
