question about parking your solar topped camper under fluorescent lights at night

To sum-up Dave's post;
Park under a streetlight and see if your panel registers any input &/or activates the MPPT-- chances are slim that will happen, most are LED's with a very low output compared to the sun.

For the record, I've been using a Victron MPPT for about 9-10 years with a few different panels, and I park it under a streetlight when it's not out in the wild--still haven't worn it out.

For what its worth, the luminaires I most recently spec'd produced 5000 lumen at 4000K on a 30 foot pole. At grade (in other words, on the street) the datasheet says they produce 0.5 foot-candle, which is the same as 0.5 lumen per sq-foot.
Just for reference, the normal brightness of sunlight, measured at an intercepting surface near the ground, at 12 noon, on July 1st, in Washington DC (where ANSI is located).... is 8000 footcandles.
