Most all dogs are special....I know I've had a few that I still miss. You pour your heart and soul into them and then they leave. Makes me not want to do it again but I always seem to sign up for another term.
After Pugsly died, I thought that I'd be fine with just me and Argos pup - it's much easier to manage only one dog.... But I found that I missed having a little cuddle-buddy and found a pathetic, lost, flea ridden, scrawny Shih Tzu at a very small town city pound. He joined in our fun, and now he's fattened up and fully integrated into our lives. Unfortunately, he's pretty indifferent to Argos, but at least they keep each other company.
Hi Russ!
Oh! His name is Sully. Short for Sullivan.
I found him at the teeny City of Sullivan, Missouri sad pound (basically a storage shack with six cages inside for critters )
The Animal Control officer was really nice.
When I was trying to decide on names, a friend suggested Sullivan, Sully for short.
(on the short list was "Falcor" from the Neverending Story )
