This is a home made rack for the bed of a ranger. It has two cross bars that you can mount either a long thule style carrier on or kayak pads. Then it has two short arms that are set up to mount two bike mounts on. It drops into the stake holes on the truck , then has bars that connect the front and back with bolts. Here are some pictures with it all loaded up on one of the offroad adventures we took up the Ca coast. One with just bikes, and one with two kayaks. You can see that all your gear can still fit in the bed.
