I started up on the cabinet cases again. Hopefully by end of tomorrow I’ll have the kitchen ones more or less finished. I also made some more progress on the drop down bed frame. I still need to counter sink some holes, paint it up, and treat the slats before it gets reinstalled.

Well it’s starting to look a bit more like a kitchen. I also got the drawer slides for the head installed. I’m trying to figure out where to put the air conditioner that came with the unit. I can turn the heat exchanger on it’s side correct? It’s just the compressor that has to be in the correct orientation? 83A6B2ED-1724-472E-A086-5F9B0A2F42FC.jpeg

Just building cabinets. I really don’t enjoy this part but it is nice to see it slowly come together. Don’t mind my messy work space. It’s getting pretty bad.

The fridge cabinet is going on top of that cabinet in the last picture

hang in there, You may not like this part... but it’s looking amazing. I know how much work it is, but it’ll be worth it in the end.

While I’m seeing you do a complete gut and rebuild, I’m trying to find time to replace the cracked plastic on the passenger side of mine. I’m glad someone is making progress. It’s not me :(

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Sometimes I lose sight of what this thing looked like not too long ago! I am fortunate to have more free time on my hands these days due to Covid.

Yeah, I think those slides will be left til later. I might even do some trips before I look at that again. I was thinking of a slide out counter top for out door cooking etc but I haven't fully made up my mind yet....

Some progress shots from today. I finally settled on a place for the water heater. It was about 4” too tall everywhere I wanted to put it. I think this will work though. I decided that since this is a winter machine that I wanted it in the conditioned space. Because of that, it’s direct vent and needs 110v off the inverter. I may regret my choice but I’ll let everyone know how it goes. The price was right. Hopefully that’s the last hole I cut in the side of Rambo lol.

Got 95% of the plumbing done before I ran out of crimps. I sanded all the pine and got a coat of primer sealer on the wood. Man that stuff isn’t as easy as regular paint to work with. My maple counter tops showed up and in fine form I cut one 1.5” short. Blah. I can laminate a board on it but I really wish I didn’t do that lol. Hopefully cutting the sink out tomorrow goes a lot smoother

Starting to look like a thing. I still need to sand the counter hole for a long long while I’m sure. I have a lot of moving parts on the go and I’m trying to decide what to prioritize as they start to converge00332599-48F8-4BB0-BCCF-C6322EB90879.jpeg

Are you talking about the plastic fender part? Don't forget I saved you some... :)
