Ramsond 1500w Sine Wave Generator

Anyone ever used one of these?

Local guy has a few for sale, all look like new, says he bought them because the world was coming to an end, but is looking to get something even better. Claims they were only used once and will start em up for me if i like.

They look like a viable alternative to a Honda 1000w generator.

I'm sure it's a chinese knockoff of Honda/Yamaha. Under $300 might be a good deal. With generators "you get what you pay for". Despite the spec it will not be as quiet as a 1000 watt Honda/Yamaha.

I contacted the seller again, he sold out of all of them except for one. He let me have it for $150. Claimed that there was a lot of interest in these.

As I was driving away from his house in the middle of nowhere, some guy in a truck asks me for directions...to this guys house... he was looking to buy one of these too. Told him i snagged the last one, he offered me $200 on the spot. I took it.

So nothing to report, would have loved to try it out, but oh well...

I just read this, and, really did, laugh out loud. You'll never know for sure, but my guess is that you are better off this way.
