I don't post much, reading the photography section of Expo did encourage me to buy a nice camera though. Here's some of the first shots.

Here's a few of my traveling bud, Porthos. He loves his truck and helps spot from time to time.

awww, poor little buddy, that happened to my lab Jack a few yrs back, although he sliced his open at the dog park on a errant shard of beer bottle and we only got hit for about 150.00 at the vet... the dang anesthetic was over 100.00 bucks... needless to say I am much more alert for the glass now! Glas he's okay though, great looking dog!

Great lookin dog! Is he a malamute mix of some sort? great name too.

Thanks, He is a full Malamute. Got him from "MUSH" when he was about a year old. I have wanted a malamute for as long as I can remember. As soon as I found him I knew he would be perfect. I also knew I wanted to name him one of the names of the 3 musketeers. After being with him for about 5 minutes I knew Porthos would be perfect. Execpt for going to work, he goes everywhere I do. If he can't go, I don't go.

I got a set of puppy booties for just this reason. Anytime we are out on a rocky trail or at the beach (sand can be real bad on puppy pads) Porthos wears his booties. They are a life(paw) saver.

These are the ones I have

Hope it helps.

Very cool. Im a husky / malamute man myself. My family breed's bullmastiff's but i've always been a husky kinda guy. *hope my grandma doesnt read this* :p

I asked "mixed" because of his droopyness in the face, but that could just be age as well. I dont see very many malamute's in southern california heh. He looks like a great dog. thanks for sharing.
