She was abandoned and running wild in the desert for over a month before we managed to catch her. In the days before we trapped her, we watched her playing with two coyotes and bedding near their den. We knew it was a matter of time before they would turn on her or worse, someone would shoot her. Six weeks later, she incredibly loyal and a joy. She’s already traveled over 1000 miles with us.

My late dog, Boomer - ready for a drive in the Yukon

Our current dog, Angel - she's a rescue, we've had her about two months now. She was horribly malnourished when we got her, this pic is about a week after we did:

And here she is a week ago...we were at a lake and she decided to go fishing. I've never had a dog that liked the water that much - Boomer and Tasha (a Sibe I had before Boomer) hated being wet.
