My Trail dog "Shila" (lab/husky mix) that I rescued from the pound. She was in very bad shape when i got her at 3 months old. Covered in 100's of ticks and mange on her face. Now at 8 months, he has become a beautiful dog with amazing orange eyes and very loyal personality. She beat me back and was waiting for me by the truck after an early morning hike here.

My girlfriends Lap Dog "Opie" He is just made for the AZ summers, but can get lost under the seats pretty easy! People love this dog for some reason?!

Lost one of my good friends over Christmas. We had a good meal of swiss fondue and chinook salmon before the cancer took her appetite away. I hope our trails cross again some time. RIP Maggie.

Here is my 11 YO Samoyed.

I had a Samoyed for 11 years. When he passed away a good friend of mine sought out a purbred Samoyed to mate with his wolf/malamute hybrid.

That was 5 years ago.

He is the sweetest thing.

I took this with an old cell phone camera. He lays in our front yard and never goes anywhere. One day I walked out of the garage to find that a passing neighbor girl decided to give him some love. (They had never met before, he just laid there and let her snuggle for about 5 min before she got up and went home)
