I appreciate everyone posting. We had to let our 13 year old Chow/Border Collie go yesterday. He put up a brave fight but too much cancer was more than he could handle. I'm 53 and been around a lot of dogs but he was my favorite.

I posted this on another forum and someone commented about the "snake" at her feet. It's her "hiking" stick, she has to have one for you to throw along the way! This is outside Hurricane, UT, in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve.
