She's my baby. :D

What sort of Mad Max Roof Rack is that?:Wow1:

Funny you should say Mad Max. I am huge Mad Max fan, so much so that my other vehicle project is a 1976 Ford Falcon coupe destined to be a Mad Max 2 replica, imported from Oz!!!

What are the spike looking things on the front of the air deflector and what is the thing above it. Not the tire, but the smaller thing beside the tire? That thing is really cool looking!

Its just a custom wind deflector. It is exactly what it looks like...SPIKES. :) In the center though is a video camera I had mounted up there for the trip.
Here another couple shots of the spikes:

Bart, that's funny because I thought it looked like a video camera with a ziplock baggie around it, and I thought they were spikes, but I was hoping I wasnt going to offend you if i asked that and they werent spikes.

Very cool looking rack and rig!

LOL, yeah, I had a bag around it to protect it from the heinous Moab dust. The spike idea I had for so long, and finally one day I made a cardboard mock-up and my buddy who has a full metal shop whipped it up for me! ;)

Sadly though, now that I have my Hellas, I rarely run with the spikes anymore. But, I am thinking of moving the Hellas to my Trooper so maybe the spikes will go back up there soon. I dunno.

Now would be a good time!!! You can get nice used ones still in the $5k-$10k range. I wouldn't wait until they are either nearly extinct or all super high mileage. There were only around 4,000 imported, so they are kinda rare now...
