Dropping a spare tire into the Golden Crack works as a bridging ladder too. Just make sure you place the valve stem in a place it won't get crushed.

I love this photo, I find it very funny. Here is my wife doing a GREAT job spotting for me...except that I had no idea she was spotting! My eyes were on another guy just off camera to the right and I totally did not see the large rock that did a great job of curbing my forward progress. As I'm sure I will say countless times in my life ahead; "If only I had listened to my wife!" LOL
