Thanks, you have a great album of photos. I used to take action stuff, but now trying to learn landscapes and still can't figure out how to master the photos. Not even sure what HDR is for sure, I am guessing a software?

If you run through my past galleries you don't have to go back very far in time before you hit average snapshot galleries. LOL I have only gotten seriously focused on learning photography over the last couple years.
HDR is High Dynamic Range. You take bracketed shots with one correctly exposed, one or more under exposed and one or more over exposed then use software like Photomatix to combine the images to end up a broader range more like what you eyes can see. If not over done is will bring out the details in the shadows and tone down the over blown areas in bright light. If over done they end up looking like a cartoon painting.
