Full moon last night rising between Cape Royal and Wonton’s Throne, picture taken from Yaki Point.
Just by pure luck my bus route had me at Yaki Point at the right time with good lighting to be able to get this photo. Unfortunately there were scattered low clouds which prevented getting a complete view of the moon so it didn’t look like a full moon.

I love the view from Yaki point early in the morning! Have shot there several times.

How long you been driving the bus there?

Yaki Point overlook is a great spot to view the canyon from. I like the view looking east with Whonton Throne and Vishnu Temple nearby. In the dark looking down at the South Kaibab Trail especially during summer you can see the hikers headlights.
This is my 13th year driving at the canyon, never get tired looking at it the day I do is the day I need to leave!

Another shot from Yaki Point. After two and a half days of no visibility of the canyon due to fog/clouds from the big storm we are experiencing the clouds lifted and the sun shone through the clouds which spot lighted various buttes.

I think this is Zoroaster Butte which is to the right of Wonton Throne. The rain really clears up the sky from the haze that builds up in the canyon. The canyon is always the prettiest after these storms.
