I agree... it adds purpose, direction to the picture, which is worth 1000 words. It changes the picture from something that just "is" to something that you travelled to in order to see...

It also adds scale. Sometimes a slightly cloudy blue sky, stretched against an infinite horizon and a sea of green foliage is hard to appreciate until some object of known size puts things into perspective. Literally.

Which is not the purpose of SWR's thread. If anybody can post anything in any thread in any forum then let's all go post Toyota photos in the Rover forum and pollute trip reports with complaints about Mods and show cute pictures of kids in the technical forums. Or do you just like to publicly illustrate your disrespect for SWR?
Why do you persist in being so rude? Can't you start your own thread for Rig Photos rather than be such a cad in this thread? Or go to the LandRover threads and trash them with unrelated random photos and comments. I'd love to see how the Rover Dudes and Dudettes treat you.
Personally, I will tag your post as SPAM and encourage others to do so. The mods recently deleted the posts of a rude dude who tried to trash one of my trip reports with off-topic attacks. I hope they ban him for 30 days or more.

That picture has been posted and commented on several times in this thread. What makes it offensive now that Ursidae69 has repeated compliments that others have posted? Why was it not offensive when the earlier comments were posted?
