Pat and Nathanael, great images. So different, but great light in both those shots.
We were up in the UP the last couple of days and spent time at the Seney Wildlife refuge- did not see any ospreys, but got an eyeful of loons, sand hill cranes, and lots of small birds that my wife kept pointing out- too bad I don't own any lenses over 200mm- maybe someday. I think I got a pic of a fly-catcher though.
In the meantime I thoroughly enjoyed capturing more UP magic up there in Schoolcraft County.

About a 100k protected acres, and we only saw a small portion of this beautiful area. They have a graded dirt road that loops around a tiny 7 mile portion. Will defintely plan on returning some time soon, with a canoe preferably.
