X2 ?? I am thinking of upgrading to LR3 now too.:drool:

Yeah I run CS4 for big editing jobs (portraits) but for speed LR seems to have it when Batch processing. one of the issues i have with CS4 is the water marking for net use is such a slow process.

Thanks guys, I just got started yesterday, because of work getting in the way, so these are my very initial impressions
-feels snappier all around
-the import feature is a HUGE improvement. It gets it's own full screen too
-Tone curves are much more customizable- this is the greatest improvement for me thus far. I can hover my mouse over a region and the point shows up on the curve along with the histogram information.

Well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
