Haven't been out much with the camera of late, life seems to have gotten in the way, but I made some time yesterday for myself and captured this.

I enjoy when you push your life responsibilities back down into the background and get out shooting. The results are always breath taking. No exception this time. That is an awesome image. Nicely done. :wings:

Thanks Brad. I wish I could push responsibilities back more often but life decided to throw down the gauntlet on me and in the last 6 months I've faced sudden job loss due to closer, a serious family illness, and a mess of other crap all at once. That's why I haven't posted much of late. That's life though... The image above, ironically enough, could be seen as a representation of where I am now however; washing away the past with light on the horizon. With the proverbial storm is moving on, I'm optimistic that I'll be able to start posting here more often. Thanks again.

Sorry to hear of your life challenges Trevor. Your right though, life is unpredictable and can pile up some rudeness at times. Best wishes to you to heal your wounds and sail into that light ahead.

X2 That was a great illustration, Trevor. Here's too being able to make more time for yourself.

I deal with similar constraints- more work related- seems like perpetually,
but maybe because of that, the few moments of artisitic spontaniety are that much sweeter.

Rough times of course happen to us all. Good to be able to get time to your self for sure.
Great image Trevor, the emotional depth is there for sure.

Solitude, sunrise, sporadic snaps of the shutter release- sustenance for the the soul.
I was trying to think in terms of mood, tones for these. The first shot somehow reminded me of the pic Trevor posted up on Friday.:)
They're transferring a little darker into smugmug for some reason..
