Bald Bluff near Palmyra, WI. The rock under the oak tree is one of the best sitting spots around.

These are from today at Retzer Nature Center near Waukesha, WI.

A big White Oak.

A little creek that runs next to the oak in the last picture.

A spring-fed stream runs out from between these hills. There are lots of springs in this particular spot.

Standing on top of a glacial drumlin looking over some fresh snow on a typical January day in southeast Wisconsin. Aside from some corn stubble in the distant fields, the world looks black and white.

The last few days we've had lots of freezing fog but this morning was the best yet. These are from today's walk in the Kettle Moraine State Forest outside of Eagle, WI.
