I love seeing them in the air, but Landing is always the most carnage

So true. Here's another group of shots from that day...

And here are the results if you're not careful.
In addition to the obvious front end damage he also shifted his body back ~1/4":Wow1:

From my work trip yesterday on the Sonoma Coast.
A redwood growing in and through another redwood.

the 3 little letters LOL cant explain how hard I'm laughing right now:wings:

Glad seeing other's pain amuses you. :smilies27

Myself, I have an entirely different reaction to this kind of thing.

There were over a dozen rigs there in our group and his was the only damage to our vehicles that day. The sand landings are usually very forgiving because they are typically a slight downhill landing but in this case his jump was simply up a slope that wasnt very steep so he was able to build up alot of speed and when he came down, the other side was more level and his front end plowed in instead.

It isnt the pain that amuses me, it's just the fact that these guys/girls are actually using their trucks.

California, Arizona and Florida are loaded with built trucks that never see anything other than another coat of wax to keep them looking show quality. Not that anything is wrong with that, but to see guys out putting their trucks through the paces is very awesome to say the least.

Before I had to watch every penny in my account, I used to put my vehicles through the paces like this. I can remember blowing out shock towers from hard landings and tweaking frames from the rough driving we'd put them through.

But that was back when income was disposable and you never weighed out the consequences. Ignorance can be bliss at certain ages:victory:

Well, I can certainly appreciate and share your point of view. My cousins' husband has an H2 that's NEVER seen a dirt road much less gone 4 wheeling. I even offered to take him on some easy trails so he can decide if he might like it or not and he declined noting how he didn't want to get it dirty.

I like the guy well enough but IMHO, he's nothing but a Poser when it comes to having an off road vehicle.

Here's some San Diego randomness from this last weekend.

Landscape maintenance shed at the Hyatt Islandia. Note the satellite dishes on the left. I bet this shed is a total man cave inside....

Crossing the San Diego river between Mission Bay and OB. Notice the painted cardboard cartoon cut-out in the light pole base.

OB Tuk tuk! The bear is named Bernie.

Where else can you be walking along, here Sublime cranking out of a boom box while adults play kick-ball. Note the orange ball on the upper left, and the dog on the lower right. Awesome.
