Scary Tree

I camped one night up in Horse Thief Basin outside of Crown King before this year's Trophy event. After setting up camp I was relaxing and looked up to see this tree staring back ay me.

I cracked up thinking it came straight out of the Wizard Of Oz.

Winter in the Sonoran Desert

Taken last winter in Saguaro Nat'l Park near Tucson. It's not too often it snows enough to get pictures--took me 20 years to get these!

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Here's one more that my wife picked out. The young saguaro is being protected by the palo verde tree. The older saguaros in the backround have long outlived their host tree, so they are left to defend themselves.

Thanks for looking
