Rare Upgraded Land Rover 101

Expedition Will

I can't seem to get the pictures to load up on the forum. If you can help with the secret I'd appreciate it.

This is a Right Hand Drive Land Rover and is ready to go anywhere on earth at 62-65mph. The nice thing about the 101 is that while it looks large it is only 6 feet wide and just over 12 feet long and so fits easily into a normal car parking space. Great for global travel or weekend 4x4 trips. Financing is available with excellent credit through JJ Best Bank.

About the 101: The Land-Rover Forward Control 101 was built for a British Army requirement for an air-transportable heavy duty four wheel drive. The standard 101 is a soft-top although radio vans and ambulances came later.

This particular 101 is not your average 101. It is remarkable presentation of the original vehicle with 22,300 miles on the new engine. Little has not been upgraded to present a classic vehicle with the running gear of any modern Land Rover even down to the headlights which are off a 110. The engine has been upgraded to the Land Rover 4.0 V8. The transmission has been rebuilt. The entire body has been stripped and repainted. All done by the previous owner who is very talented and know his Land Rovers The Michelin X tires are in excellent condition -70% tread remaining. There are to spares, on wheels. This particular vehicle has gone to the Arctic Circle with its previous owner. There is a rear view camera. Cab lights can be adjusted to work when the doors open (very rare in a 101) or stay on in the vent you are camping and want to read. There are two batteries on board and an inverter. There is a standard Land Rover 101 winch on board and is operated by controls in the cockpit. There is a stereo/CD player and four outlets for plugging in your GPS, Laptop etc. if you so choose. Recaro seats are comfortable. Since the old dear arrived with us I have replaced the exhaust, belts and had my Rover mechanic go over her. There is no rust. A few surface spots on the roll cage where paint has been rubbed off. Also included are two lightweight expedition storage boxes, a spare drive shaft, extra fuel and water tanks, solar panel. I would consider throwing in the kayaks and mountain bikes if the deal gets done and the buyer does not play games. This is a go anywhere 4x4 and turns more heads than a Ferrari but it is not as fast!! I am selling it because I need to find a more practical expedition vehicle that is better suited for our young son for a long trip coming up later in the summer. This is a good condition, used Land Rover. You are welcome to make me an offer. I have it listed locally, after a price drop at $16,500. I have way more in it so don't be too low on your offer.

If you don't have all the money you might apply to JJ Best Banc for loan on this Land Rover. They usually want 20% down. Trades of a 4x4 Land Rover, Rang Rover- (year 2003), or 110, upgraded Series, truck and truck camper or other will be considered-no convertibles please. I can take specific pictures if you need them and let you speak to my mechanic if you are serious. Thanks for looking.

Would you be willing to trade for a 1989 Range Rover classic with a 300tdi and manual trans and cloth seats? Very comfortable with a great cruising range.

cheers
